Crew hours of rest and fatigue app, built around how you run.
A crew hours of rest and fatigue app that checks duty time against your own limits and warns before anyone goes past them.
Fatigue is a safety risk on any vessel, and the time to catch it is before a roster breaks your limits, not in a report afterwards. We build an app where crew sign on and off, rest is worked out across rolling periods against the limits in your safety system, and the skipper and office are warned early enough to change the plan.
What it covers
Timesheets record hours for pay, after the fact. A fatigue tool has to look ahead at the roster and the trip, which is why it works best built around how your crew actually work.
- Crew sign on and off from their phones
- Rest worked out over rolling periods
- Limits set from your own safety system
- Early warnings before a limit is reached
- Roster changes checked before they are confirmed
- Records kept for reviews and audits
What we would build
- Early fatigue warnings
- A roster checker
- A rest record
Alongside your vessel software, or instead of it.
We build the tool around how your operation runs, as a web app for the office and an iOS and Android app for the boat, on our own post-trained models where they fit. Keep the software you use today and connect the two, or let the new tool take its place.
*Every engagement is scoped and quoted up front. Results vary by workflow and business.
Questions vessel operators ask
What limits does it use?
Yours. Limits come from your safety system and the rules that apply to your operation, and are set up in the app. It checks and warns, but it is not compliance advice.
Does it work for crew who move between vessels?
Yes. Rest is tracked per person across every vessel they work on, so time on one boat counts toward the limits on the next.
What about callouts at night?
Unplanned duty is recorded when crew sign on, and rest is recalculated straight away so the next day's plan reflects it.
Is it tied to payroll?
It does not have to be. If you want duty time to flow into payroll we can connect it, but the fatigue checks stand on their own.
