Hours of rest app for commercial fishing.

Rest across long trips and night hauls tracked against your limits, with warnings before a crew member goes past them.

Fishing vessels spend long days and sometimes weeks at sea, often out of coverage, with small crews working through the night. Catch reporting runs through its own systems, while the vessel, crew and safety records still need to be kept on board. Timesheets record hours for pay, after the fact. A fatigue tool has to look ahead at the roster and the trip, which is why it works best built around how your crew actually work.

What it covers for
fishing operators

A crew hours of rest and fatigue app that checks duty time against your own limits and warns before anyone goes past them.

  • Crew sign on and off from their phones
  • Rest worked out over rolling periods
  • Limits set from your own safety system
  • Early warnings before a limit is reached
  • Roster changes checked before they are confirmed
  • Records kept for reviews and audits

Built around how fishing operators work

Fatigue is a safety risk on any vessel, and the time to catch it is before a roster breaks your limits, not in a report afterwards. We build an app where crew sign on and off, rest is worked out across rolling periods against the limits in your safety system, and the skipper and office are warned early enough to change the plan.

  • Records captured offline for days at sea
  • Crew rest across long trips and night work
  • Maintenance on hard-working engines and gear
  • Safety drills and incidents recorded at sea

Alongside your vessel software, or instead of it.

We build the tool around how your operation runs, as a web app for the office and an iOS and Android app for the boat, on our own post-trained models where they fit. Keep the software you use today and connect the two, or let the new tool take its place.

*Every engagement is scoped and quoted up front. Results vary by workflow and business.

Questions fishing operators ask

What limits does it use?

Yours. Limits come from your safety system and the rules that apply to your operation, and are set up in the app. It checks and warns, but it is not compliance advice.

Does it work for crew who move between vessels?

Yes. Rest is tracked per person across every vessel they work on, so time on one boat counts toward the limits on the next.

Does this replace our catch reporting?

No. Catch and position reporting run through their own required systems. This covers the vessel operations and safety side: the logbook, maintenance, crew and safety records.

How does it cope with long trips out of coverage?

Everything is captured and stored on the device and syncs back when the vessel returns to coverage, so a trip of any length is recorded in full.
