Does it work without coverage?

Yes, that is how we build it. Entries and checks are captured on the device at sea and sync back when the vessel is in coverage.

Does this replace our catch reporting?

No. Catch and position reporting run through their own required systems. This covers the vessel operations and safety side: the logbook, maintenance, crew and safety records.

How does it cope with long trips out of coverage?

Everything is captured and stored on the device and syncs back when the vessel returns to coverage, so a trip of any length is recorded in full.
