The future of work in Cromwell.

The realistic near term win is not fewer people, it is the same people not doing eleven hours of admin a week.

Nearly half of New Zealand's export cherries come from the Cromwell Basin. When picking starts, AI keeps orders, staff and export paperwork moving.

Definitely not a typical AI agency.

What Cromwell runs on.

Horticulture is a mainstay of Central Otago, and nearly half of New Zealand's export cherries are grown in the Cromwell Basin.

Central Otago is the most southerly wine region, and most of its plantings are Pinot Noir.

Small crew or big organisation, the busywork is the same :)

Quotes with GST, consent paperwork, LBP records and health and safety logs: the admin every New Zealand trade business carries.

How it works in Cromwell

We find the one workflow costing Cromwell businesses the most hours, ship a working slice into production in weeks, prove it pays for itself, then harden it and hand it over.

What the future of work means here

Our goal is a three day weekend: compress the week by handing the repetitive work to systems that do it reliably, so people spend their hours on the part only a person can do.

  • Automate the task, not the person's job
  • Measure success in hours given back to the team
  • Keep a human on every decision that affects a customer
  • Train the team to run and change it themselves

Straight answers

Where do you start?

With the workflow costing the most time or the most leads. The realistic near term win is not fewer people, it is the same people not doing eleven hours of admin a week.

Do you actually work on the future of work?

Our goal is a three day weekend: compress the week by handing the repetitive work to systems that do it reliably, so people spend their hours on the part only a person can do.

Is this a talk or a build?

Both, depending on what you need. We speak on the future of work, and we build the systems behind it. The advice is the same either way, and it is free of charge until there is a scope to quote.

Does scheduling handle public holidays?

It should. New Zealand has 11 national public holidays, including Matariki, plus a regional anniversary day that depends on where your business is.

What happens when the Holidays Act is replaced?

The Employment Leave Act 2026 replaces it on 6 August 2028. Until then payroll follows the current Holidays Act, so leave calculations need to handle today's rules and the changeover.
