Mobile apps for roofers.

Roofing companies-grade mobile apps, shipped by people who've done it before.

Not your typical AI agency.

Honest about what AI can and cannot do

Ships the one workflow that pays for itself

Hours given back, never the size of the invoice

*Every engagement is scoped and quoted up front. Results vary by workflow and business.

Measure-ups turned into quotes with GST shown correctly, and job photos filed for restricted building work records.

From one-person trades to national organisations, we find the hours :)

Quotes with GST, consent paperwork, LBP records and health and safety logs: the admin every New Zealand trade business carries.

*Illustrative example based on nine hours a week of admin. Actual results vary by workflow and business.

How Kiwi Dynamics works

We find the one workflow costing roofing companies the most hours, ship a working slice into production in weeks, prove it pays for itself, then harden it and hand it over.

Knows the New Zealand rules.

Mobile apps that keep working with patchy coverage and sync later, built for crews working outside the main centres.

  • GST at 15 per cent
  • Restricted work needs an LBP
  • Consent first, sign-off after

The pattern across most roofing companies we work with.

Roofers quote off photos, chase weather windows, and juggle insurance jobs that all move at different speeds.

Fast, accurate quoting from a photo is the single biggest lever for a roofing business's close rate.

Less admin.
More weekend.
No theatre.

What you get

What changes for roofing companies after this lands: the work that used to need a person stays done, the work that needs a person gets done with their attention undivided.

  • One codebase for iOS and Android, so you are not paying twice
  • We handle App Store and Google Play submission and review
  • Works offline in the ute, syncs when the signal comes back
  • Push notifications your team will actually read, not noise
  • No shelfware or licences you do not use
  • No annual contracts

Questions roofing companies ask

What's the realistic timeline for mobile apps with a roofing company?

Most roofing companies have their first usable slice in week 5 or 6. We'd rather ship narrow and real than broad and aspirational - your team gets to use the thing well before the engagement is "done".

Is mobile apps worth it for a smaller roofing company?

Often, yes - and counterintuitively the ROI is sometimes faster than for the big end of town because there's less integration overhead. We'll tell you honestly on the scoping call if it isn't.

What happens if we want to swap a vendor out later?

Mobile apps is built behind a small adapter layer specifically so swapping a model provider or a data source is a one-day job, not a re-architecture. React Native, Expo, Swift, Kotlin, Supabase, Cloudflare Workers are our defaults, but the build is intentionally portable.

Does it keep up with KiwiSaver changes?

It has to. The minimum employer contribution rose to 3.5 per cent on 1 April 2026 and rises to 4 per cent on 1 April 2028.

What happens when the Holidays Act is replaced?

The Employment Leave Act 2026 replaces it on 6 August 2028. Until then payroll follows the current Holidays Act, so leave calculations need to handle today's rules and the changeover.
