Custom software development for law firms.

For law firms who want results in weeks, not a year-long transformation programme.

Small crew or big organisation, the busywork is the same :)

Quotes with GST, consent paperwork, LBP records and health and safety logs: the admin every New Zealand trade business carries.

*Illustrative example based on nine hours a week of admin. Actual results vary by workflow and business.

Intake, file notes and document review sped up, with client information protected under the Privacy Act 2020 and kept in New Zealand.

Not your typical AI agency.

Honest about what AI can and cannot do

Ships the one workflow that pays for itself

Hours given back, never the size of the invoice

*Every engagement is scoped and quoted up front. Results vary by workflow and business.

Already buried in admin? We'll sort the first workflow for you :)

Nine hours a week of admin is 468 hours a year. That could drop to about 52.*

*Illustrative, based on 9 hours a week of admin at a typical 80% automation rate. The calculator uses your own numbers.

The shape of every law firm brief we've seen.

Law firms bill for judgement, but a huge share of the week still goes on intake, document review, and status updates.

New matter intake and routine client updates are the two places firms lose the most billable time to admin.

Knows the New Zealand rules.

Business systems wired into the tools New Zealand organisations already run, like Xero, so data is entered once and stays consistent.

  • Xero, founded in New Zealand
  • GST at 15 per cent
  • Serious breaches get reported

Small team.
Real systems.
Zero fluff.

What you get

We map the process with the people who do the work first, then build the smallest system that replaces the spreadsheet.

  • Internal systems for jobs, quotes, stock, rosters and reporting
  • Client and supplier portals with proper logins and permissions
  • Integrations with Xero, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and the tools you already run
  • Code, data and hosting accounts owned by you from day one
  • No AI theatre
  • No shelfware or licences you do not use

Questions law firms ask

What if our law firm doesn't have any data ready?

Most don't. Getting the data into shape - ingestion, cleaning, the lightweight contracts you need before any model is useful - is part of the engagement. For custom software development specifically, we typically run that work on TypeScript, Postgres, Next.js, Cloudflare, Xero API and assume messy starting conditions from day one.

Do you have proof this works for law firms?

Direct case study: We map the process with the people who do the work first, then build the smallest system that replaces the spreadsheet. Happy to walk you through full numbers on a call.

How fast could we have custom software development in production?

Eight to ten weeks for most law firms. Faster if your data is in good shape and slower if we're untangling a legacy integration first. We'll give you a realistic number on the scoping call rather than the optimistic one.

What happens when the Holidays Act is replaced?

The Employment Leave Act 2026 replaces it on 6 August 2028. Until then payroll follows the current Holidays Act, so leave calculations need to handle today's rules and the changeover.

Does scheduling handle public holidays?

It should. New Zealand has 11 national public holidays, including Matariki, plus a regional anniversary day that depends on where your business is.
