Custom software development for cleaning companies.
Custom software development that fits a cleaning company's week, not the other way around.
How much is the admin really costing you?
Nine hours a week of admin is 468 hours a year. That could drop to about 52.*
*Illustrative, based on 9 hours a week of admin at a typical 80% automation rate. The calculator uses your own numbers.
Quotes with GST, rosters and payday filing for a spread-out team, handled without the Sunday night spreadsheet.
Knows the New Zealand rules.
Business systems wired into the tools New Zealand organisations already run, like Xero, so data is entered once and stays consistent.
- Xero, founded in New Zealand
- GST at 15 per cent
- Payday filing, every payday
What years of building for cleaning companies taught us.
Cleaning businesses run on recurring contracts and one-off quotes, both of which need fast, consistent follow-up to win.
Quote turnaround and scheduling reliability are what most decide whether a cleaning company keeps a client past the first job.
Small team.
Real systems.
Zero fluff.
What custom software development covers
The shape of the result for cleaning companies: We map the process with the people who do the work first, then build the smallest system that replaces the spreadsheet.
- Internal systems for jobs, quotes, stock, rosters and reporting
- Client and supplier portals with proper logins and permissions
- Integrations with Xero, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and the tools you already run
- Code, data and hosting accounts owned by you from day one
- No AI theatre
- No shelfware or licences you do not use
From one-person trades to national organisations, we find the hours :)
Quotes with GST, consent paperwork, LBP records and health and safety logs: the admin every New Zealand trade business carries.

Good questions, answered
Has this actually shipped for a real cleaning company?
Yes. We map the process with the people who do the work first, then build the smallest system that replaces the spreadsheet. We'll share comparable engagements on the call.
What's a typical engagement length for cleaning companies?
Six to twelve weeks for the build, then a short managed-services month while the system goes from "shipped" to "owned by your team". After that you keep us on retainer if you want, or take it from there yourself.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes. The default custom software development stack we reach for is TypeScript, Postgres, Next.js, Cloudflare, Xero API, but we'll bend it around whatever you already run - Xero, HubSpot, Shopify, Cin7, your own in-house apps. The discovery week maps every data source before any build starts.
What happens when the Holidays Act is replaced?
The Employment Leave Act 2026 replaces it on 6 August 2028. Until then payroll follows the current Holidays Act, so leave calculations need to handle today's rules and the changeover.
Does it keep up with KiwiSaver changes?
It has to. The minimum employer contribution rose to 3.5 per cent on 1 April 2026 and rises to 4 per cent on 1 April 2028.
