AI strategy for dentists.

AI roadmap + plan, built around how a dentist actually works.

On the tools or running at scale, the admin still eats the week :)

The questions a public sector buyer asks, answered up front: privacy impact, the NZISM, where the data lives and how an algorithm is held to account.

*Illustrative example based on nine hours a week of admin. Actual results vary by workflow and business.

Recalls, bookings and patient messages handled automatically, with patient information protected under the Privacy Act 2020.

How the work runs

We find the one workflow costing dentists the most hours, ship a working slice into production in weeks, prove it pays for itself, then harden it and hand it over.

Definitely not a typical AI agency.

Straight answers, even when the answer is no

One workflow live in weeks, not a programme

Measured in hours back, not slides

*Every engagement is scoped and quoted up front. Results vary by workflow and business.

What AI strategy actually does

A clear-eyed AI roadmap built for your business - not a generic deck. With the right workflow automated, nine hours of admin a week could drop to about one.*

*Illustrative example only, based on 9 hours a week of admin falling to about 1 hour a week. Actual results vary by workflow and business.

Dentists need software built around their week, not against it.

Dental practices live and die by a full chair and a clean recall list, and both take constant admin to keep on track.

No-shows, insurance queries, and recall reminders are the recurring admin load behind every dental front desk.

One workflow.
In production.
In weeks.

What AI strategy covers

If we build the right slice first, dentists feel the difference inside the first month.

  • On-site discovery with the people doing the work
  • Ranked initiatives with ROI, effort, and risk
  • Tool selection - not married to any vendor
  • Phased 90-day plan you can execute or hand off
  • No shelfware or licences you do not use
  • No annual contracts

Good questions, answered

Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes. The default AI strategy stack we reach for is Claude, Notion, Miro, Linear, but we'll bend it around whatever you already run - Xero, HubSpot, Shopify, Cin7, your own in-house apps. The discovery week maps every data source before any build starts.

Can you walk us through a comparable build?

Yes - on the first call we'll pick the closest engagement we've shipped to what you're describing and walk through the outcome, the headcount and the time it took. Most plans pay for themselves in the first build.

What's a typical engagement length for dentists?

Six to twelve weeks for the build, then a short managed-services month while the system goes from "shipped" to "owned by your team". After that you keep us on retainer if you want, or take it from there yourself.

Does scheduling handle public holidays?

It should. New Zealand has 11 national public holidays, including Matariki, plus a regional anniversary day that depends on where your business is.

Can you work to the NZISM?

The NZISM is the government's information security manual and is written for vendors serving agencies as well as the agencies themselves, so government-adjacent work should be built to it.
