Law firms · Applied AI

AI-generated quotes, built around how a law firm actually works.

When a law firm asks us about AI quoting, the first question we put back is the same one every time: which part of your week, if it disappeared, would change how you feel on a Friday? We start the build from that answer.

What AI quoting actually does

Customers send a photo, a brief, or a voicemail – AI drafts a structured quote in your pricing format. You review, tweak, send. Quotes go out the same day, not next week.

  • 01 Reads photos, voice notes, emails, and PDFs
  • 02 Uses your pricing rules and current material costs
  • 03 Drafts in your branded template, ready to send
  • 04 Tracks win/loss to make the next quote sharper

Sector reality

Law firms need software built around their week, not against it.

  • Law firms bill for judgement, but a huge share of the week still goes on intake, document review, and status updates.
  • New matter intake and routine client updates are the two places firms lose the most billable time to admin.

How we build AI quoting for law firms.

We scope narrow, ship a working pilot, then harden it into production. The first slice is the highest-leverage workflow for a law firm business, so value lands before the build is finished. AI-generated quotes.

Questions

FAQ

What's a typical engagement length for law firms?

Six to twelve weeks for the build, then a short managed-services month while the system goes from "shipped" to "owned by your team". After that you keep us on retainer if you want, or take it from there yourself.

Do you do hourly billing or fixed price?

Fixed price for the pilot, every time. After that it's your call – fixed price per milestone or a small monthly retainer for ongoing iteration. We don't run open-ended T&M because it disincentivises us from finishing.

Do you have proof this works for law firms?

Direct case study: Quote turnaround drops from days to under an hour. Happy to walk you through full numbers on a call.

Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes. The default AI quoting stack we reach for is Claude Vision, Whisper, Xero, Vercel, but we'll bend it around whatever you already run – Xero, HubSpot, Shopify, Cin7, your own in-house apps. The discovery week maps every data source before any build starts.

The honest version of a sales call.

No deck. No discovery doc. Just whether this is worth building and what it would cost.
