Honest about what AI can and cannot do

Small team.
Real systems.
Zero fluff.

What AI quoting covers

The shape of the result for building companies: Quote turnaround drops from days to under an hour.

  • Reads photos, voice notes, emails, and PDFs
  • Uses your pricing rules and current material costs
  • Drafts in your branded template, ready to send
  • Tracks win/loss to make the next quote sharper
  • No annual contracts
  • No shelfware or licences you do not use

Building companies need software built around their week, not against it.

Builders run multiple sites at once, and the paperwork behind each one grows faster than anyone has time to manage.

Variations, supplier orders, and client updates are the admin layer that determines whether a build stays on schedule.

Straight answers

What's a typical engagement length for building companies?

Six to twelve weeks for the build, then a short managed-services month while the system goes from "shipped" to "owned by your team". After that you keep us on retainer if you want, or take it from there yourself.

Do you do hourly billing or fixed price?

Fixed price for the pilot, every time. After that it's your call - fixed price per milestone or a small monthly retainer for ongoing iteration. We don't run open-ended T&M because it disincentivises us from finishing.

Can you walk us through a comparable build?

Yes - on the first call we'll pick the closest engagement we've shipped to what you're describing and walk through the outcome, the headcount and the time it took. Quote turnaround drops from days to under an hour.

Can it remind us about the annual return?

Yes. Every company must file an annual return with the Companies Office each year, separate from its tax return.

Can it help with health and safety records?

It can keep them organised. A business must notify WorkSafe of notifiable events and keep those records for at least five years.
