The honest read on AI for editors in NZ and Australia.

Every editors team we've worked with has a different definition of "broken".

Not your typical AI agency.

We say when AI is not the answer

Production first, demo second

You keep the hours, the data and the system

*Every engagement is scoped and quoted up front. Results vary by workflow and business.

1.62% of all Claude.ai conversations map to this kind of work (Anthropic Economic Index, March 2026).

Small crew or big organisation, the busywork is the same :)

Quotes with GST, consent paperwork, LBP records and health and safety logs: the admin every New Zealand trade business carries.

*Illustrative example based on nine hours a week of admin. Actual results vary by workflow and business.

How much is the admin really costing you?

Nine hours a week of admin is 468 hours a year. That could drop to about 52.*

What changes for editors week to week

Editors sits within Media, Design & Content, one of the sectors we build production AI for.

  • Draft and edit copy on brand
  • Repurpose content across channels
  • Research and outline fast
  • Caption, summarise and tag media
1.62% of all Claude.ai conversations map to this kind of work (Anthropic Economic Index, March 2026) For Editors, that almost always shows up as fewer interruptions and a calmer week, not a dashboard chart. Kiwi Dynamics

By the numbers

Canada's overall AI usage sits at 4.37x its expected level, with Singapore leading at 5.53x.

Adoption is already well ahead of the curve, and the edge goes to whoever turns it into a concrete workflow first.

Good questions, answered

Do you do hourly billing or fixed price?

Fixed price for the pilot, every time. After that it's your call - fixed price per milestone or a small monthly retainer for ongoing iteration. We don't run open-ended T&M because it disincentivises us from finishing.

Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes. The default AI stack we reach for is Draft and edit copy on brand, Repurpose content across channels, Research and outline fast, Caption, summarise and tag media, but we'll bend it around whatever you already run - Xero, HubSpot, Shopify, Cin7, your own in-house apps. The discovery week maps every data source before any build starts.

Do you have proof this works for Editors?

Direct case study: 1.62% of all Claude.ai conversations map to this kind of work (Anthropic Economic Index, March 2026) Happy to walk you through full numbers on a call.

Is our data kept in New Zealand?

Kiwi Dynamics hosts its own infrastructure in New Zealand, under New Zealand governance. If personal information ever has to go offshore, privacy principle 12 requires comparable protection.

What happens when the Holidays Act is replaced?

The Employment Leave Act 2026 replaces it on 6 August 2028. Until then payroll follows the current Holidays Act, so leave calculations need to handle today's rules and the changeover.
